Become a GetYourFix Funder – IT'S EASY!

As a Funder ready to help pets in need, you have TWO options:

WORK DIRECTLY WITH PET FAMILIES

Many funders find working directly with other animal people around the country very rewarding. The Pet Owners are so appreciative and excited to hear from you! They will only know your Display ID so your actual contact information is kept secure. If you would like to connect directly with fellow pet lovers who just need some help, follow these steps:

STEP 1: REGISTER – Create a FREE Account so you can contact Owners.

STEP 2: PICK A PROFILE – Select a pet you want to help and send a message to the Owner. (All contact occurs through our internal messaging system unless you choose to share contact info.) Click on this button

STEP 3: COORDINATE – Ask the Owner to locate a low cost clinic or pick one you want to use. You can email through our system with the Owner to discuss clinics and costs.

STEP 4: SCHEDULE – The owner schedules the appointment and notifies you of the date.

STEP 5: FUNDING – Before the appointment, you call the clinic and pay for the surgery.

STEP 6: CELEBRATE – You notfy FiXiT that a Fix has occurred through our Notify Us system, which will give you optons to celebrate the experience on Facebook, Twitter, and other social network sites.

HAVE FIXIT COORDINATE FOR YOU

Some Funders prefer to make a donation and have FiXiT handle the details. We are happy to help! If you would like to take this option this is how it works:

STEP 1: REGISTER – Create a FREE Account so you have access to select profiles.

STEP 2: PICK A PROFILE – Go to a pet profile you are interested in sponsoring and click on the button which says, "Make Donation to FiXiT to Fund My Fix." This will take you to the Fix Request Form. If you would like to fund multiple pet's in need, there is a link to search and add as many as you like.

STEP 3: PAYMENT – After selecting the animals(s) you wish to help, you will complete the form to make a $100 donation per profile selected (average surgery cost of $90 + $10 coordination fee).

STEP 4: WAIT WHILE WE COORDINATE – FiXiT will contact the Owner(s) and inform them they have been sponsored. We will work with them to find a clinic, schedule an appointment, and pay for the surgery.

NOTE: If we are unable to reach the Profile(s) you requested, we will select another pet in need and notify you of the pet you will be helping. We try to match your interests based on area and animal type.

STEP 5: CELEBRATE – The Owner notifies FiXiT the fix is complete, and FiXiT logs the fix in your Account where you can share the experience with your friends and family on Facebook, Twitter, and other social network sites!
